Village is now available in Claude and ChatGPT via MCP

Delegate research to your Village workspace from Claude or ChatGPT, check progress, and retrieve results in the same conversation.

You can now connect Claude and ChatGPT to Village through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Start a research task from either client, and a Village agent does the work in your workspace using its files, data sources, and monitors.

Use the connection to:

  • Start new research or continue an existing Village conversation.
  • Check progress and answer questions from the Village agent.
  • Retrieve a generated file or open the result in Village.

From Claude or ChatGPT, ask Village to research recent permits for a datacenter project and return a summary with sources. Follow up in the same conversation to narrow the scope or build a monitor around the findings.

Add Village as a custom MCP connection and sign in with your Village account. You’ll need a Village workspace and access to custom connections in your client. The setup guide includes connection instructions and example prompts. Files too large to return through MCP remain available through their Village links.
